Open Door Berkhamsted. First Saturday of each month, 9.30am-12.30pm. Throw it away? No way! Bring along your broken items and let the experts take a look, in exchange for a donation. No need to book. Refreshments available while you wait from donations café.

Also 6 May. Join in some May Day Merriment at Chiltern Open Air Museum. There will by music and dancing (Elizabethan style), a living history camp, sword fighting and fire power display, featuring the black powder weapons of the day.
